OAL are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join our team based in Peterborough.
Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will take full ownership of OAL’s marketing activity, leading the delivery of campaigns that support the growth of our automation and robotics solutions across the UK food industry. This is a hands-on role where you will translate business objectives into clear, effective marketing activity - owning campaigns end to end, managing content and video production, coordinating suppliers, and tracking performance to ensure marketing delivers results.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and deliver marketing campaigns aligned to commercial objectives, with strategic input from the Commercial Director and final sign-off from the Managing Director.
Take responsibility for marketing planning, delivery, and prioritisation across all channels.
Manage and brief freelancers and external suppliers to deliver high-quality outputs.
Plan, film, and edit video content for promotional campaigns, events, and social media.
Write scripts, storyboards, and scenarios to support clear and engaging campaign messaging.
Confidently lead colleagues and participants during filming to capture authentic, professional footage.
Own LinkedIn activity and email newsletters, including drafting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Manage HubSpot CRM lists, build campaign sends, and maintain data quality.
Repurpose content across multiple formats including case studies, blogs, videos, social media, email, and website content.
Track, analyse, and report on key metrics such as engagement, leads, website traffic, and sign-ups, using insight to improve future activity.
Support events, public relations activity, awards submissions, and customer communications.
Travel to events and company sites as required (a full UK driving licence is essential).
What We’re Looking For
Experience coordinating or supporting technical or engineering projects.
Ideally, experience in food manufacturing or automation environments.

Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to juggle priorities.
Technical awareness - mechanical, electrical, or controls knowledge is an advantage.
Familiarity with installation, commissioning, or control systems.
Customer-focused attitude and willingness to collaborate.
