Marketing Coordinator

Marketing Coordinator at OAL

📍 Location: Peterborough, PE2 6YN | Up to £42k (Subject to Experience) | Full-Time, Permanent

We’re looking for a proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our team at OAL. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the marketing activity that helps us grow our automation and robotics solutions across the UK food industry.

At OAL, we recruit on attitude first. We're looking for people who are positive, customer-focused and team-oriented — the skills we can help you develop, but the mindset you bring is what makes the difference.

The role

This is a delivery-focused role where you’ll take ownership of turning our marketing strategy into action. From running campaigns and updating the website to coordinating freelancers and tracking performance, you’ll help us communicate clearly with clients and prospects, while living our values every day.

📌 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering marketing campaigns with direction from the MD and CD

  • Coordinating content creation with freelancers and suppliers

  • Drafting and scheduling posts across LinkedIn and email newsletters

  • Maintaining HubSpot CRM lists and building campaign sends

  • Repurposing content across multiple formats (case studies, blogs, social, email, website)

  • Tracking KPIs such as engagement, leads, website traffic, and signups

  • Supporting events, PR, awards, and customer communications

🙌What We’re Looking For

We want someone who is:

  • Positive – brings energy to the team and focuses on solutions, not problems

  • Committed to customers – takes ownership to help clients succeed

  • A team player – works as part of the team, not just alongside it

Experience matters, but it isn’t everything. We’re most interested in your mindset, values, and drive. If you can show us you’re proactive, organised, and willing to learn, you’ll fit right in.

That said, experience in the following will help you hit the ground running:

  • 2–4 years in a marketing role (B2B preferred)

  • Confident writing, proofreading, and creating content across multiple formats

  • Familiar with HubSpot, LinkedIn, Canva, Microsoft Office, and web CMS tools

  • Comfortable with reporting on KPIs and using data to inform decisions

🎓Development support: We’ll fully support and pay for you to complete professional marketing qualifications (e.g. CIM, HubSpot Academy) to help you progress your career and grow with us.

🌟Why join us?

At OAL, you’ll be part of a team transforming UK food manufacturing through automation and robotics. We’re a growing business where your work makes a real impact, and where values matter as much as skills.

We’re an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
