At this year's event, we will be showing our market leading Steam Infusion technology which heats, mixes and cooks food simultaneously, dramatically reducing processing costs.
Steam Infusion provides the opportunity to reduce processing stages and levers opportunities in starch hydration and flavour transfer. When testing on Bechamel Sauce, our patented technology showed cooking times were drastically reduced, there was no burn contamination and only a rinse clean was required.
Successful applications include;
- Condensed milk - Single processing stage with fast cooking.
- Soups - Improved colours and vegetable integrity.
- Grain based drinks - Instantly hydrate grains and quickly achieve exit temperature.
- Sauces - Faster heating times and improved flavour profile.

We are passionate about innovation and invest 8.2% of company turnover in R&D because we recognise "Food Is Life". To support this we have won two £1million government funded Innovate UK projects for collaborative research into future technologies with all R&D being carried out at our test centre at The National Centre for Food Manufacturing, also available for commercial trials.
