Due to an increase in workload and demand, we’re looking for a Trainer to work with our Training Coordinator to help deliver exceptional training on our Autocoding system to food manufacturers. This role would suit someone with fantastic communication skills, experience in training or presenting who doesn’t mind staying or working away from home much of the time. A company car will be provided.

Role Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

On a day to day basis, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering Training: Ensuring that you deliver training that is tailored to the needs of the customer and their site and that exceeds their expectations.

  • Auditing: To audit the system functionality of customer setups to ensure compliance with the OAL and customer Codes of Practice (COP).

  • Measuring Performance: To ensure all audit actions are captured in the tracker allowing data interrogation which will help drive improvement internally and externally.

  • Improving Performance: Through robust training, help the business in reducing the number of support calls regarding template creation and supervisory programming issues.

  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Working closely with the Training Coordinator to help drive continuous improvement within the business using feedback from training and auditing sessions.

  • Improving the Training Package: Ensure feedback is collected from all training sessions to aid in the continual improvement and development of the training packages delivered.

  • Controlling Documentation: Ensure all documentation is kept up-to-date and managed so any old versions are rescinded maintaining version control. This occurs when the system is changed or updated or when amendments are made to Codes of Practice.

  • Adhering to Health & Safety Procedures: To operate in a safe working manner and support the business whilst on site by ensuring adherence to all site health and safety requirements.

  • Communicating Effectively: To manage effective communication with both internal and external customers to ensure the needs of the customer / business are being met and exceeded!

  • Identifying Areas of Personal Development: To proactively identify areas of personal development.

    Essential Skills/Qualifications:

    To do the job you’ll need:

    • Basic IT skills.
    • A minimum of 3 years Technical or Production knowledge.
    • A working knowledge of customer Codes of Practice.
    • Full UK driving licence.
    • Communication / customer service skills.
    • Have a right first time, can do attitude.
